Taking A Trip To The Oasis Farmers’ Market
After the excitement of the Weekly Harvest party, and the lovely feeling of having met a new bee friend…
… Our flower was ready to settle down in the Oasis for good.
He met some amazing friends and explored all the cool places nearby but every time he looked around in his garden, he felt as if there was something missing…
“My place doesn’t look much like the rest of the Oasis!” he thought.
While the Oasis was blooming in full prosperity, flowers were happy and bees were roaming around… this young flower’s garden was still a bit gray and empty.
He felt as if he needed to contribute to the growth and beauty of the Oasis some more.
It was time to brighten up the garden in his new home!
Next stop: the legendary Farmers’ Market.
He heard other flowers talk about the Farmers’ Market before…
The Market was open 24/7 — and it was unlike any other market. There was no yelling, haggling, or chaos.
Only good vibes and peace.
Everyone could walk in knowing they’ll get a good deal on what they set out to purchase.
And the wares were plenty…
It was rumored you could buy the rarest and most sacred seeds in the whole NFT universe at the Oasis Farmers’ Market.
But as the flower walked in for the first time, he was still taken aback in amazement.
This place was even more magical than what he expected.
There was honey flowing in abundance everywhere your eyes could see.
Flowers were exchanging seeds for honey. Rare bees found new homes. And colorful, sweet-smelling goods got traded at cute little stalls.
He couldn’t believe his eyes…
Colors and scents that he had never experienced before…
The Market was busy — but weirdly harmonious.
Everyone was smiling, content with the trades they have made, springing with joy.
Both buyers and sellers showed respect to each other.
The air was filled with beautiful scents. Harmonious music was playing. And flowers were cheering together… congratulating each other on the great deals they’ve got.
Among all the friendly but unfamiliar faces, the young flower noticed an old friend, the Pioneer Flower at one of the booths.
“Good to see you! What do you have here?” — the young flower asked.
“Hello, my newest fren! You’re looking at some of the rarest seeds you can plant in your garden.” — the elder replied.
Looking at the variety of seeds on display, the young flower was amazed.
He loaded up a basket with about a dozen different seeds. Some of them were already colorful, with a mysterious aura to them. Others looked like regular flower seeds.
He could see how beautiful they will all look once they grow up in his garden.
“These will add a LOT of new life and color to my garden” — he thought.
He found it hard to believe these seeds only cost a little honey. Honey that he could produce in the last couple of days thanks to his Bee helper. But that was exactly the case. And with a 80% chance, these seeds would grow into beautiful new flowers.
“So what happens if I decide to plant these seeds in my garden?”
“You never planted a seed before? It’s quite easy. You take the seed, make a small hole in the ground, put the seed inside and cover it again. Then you can make a wish and hope that it will grow into a flower. Even though the ground in the Oasis is very fertile. Some seeds get blown away by the wind or simply don’t grow into a flower.”
“Oh… So what can I do to make sure I have the highest possible chance?”
“Like I said, cross your fingers”
Content with his choice, he waved goodbye and thanked his old friend.
He couldn’t wait to get back home to plant his new seeds.
All it takes is a little digging, planting, watering and care…
And in a few days to a week, he’d already get to see sprouts reach out from the ground.
Soon, the garden will bloom and our flower will get to enjoy the scent, the beauty… and the honey of his new flower friends.
What a time to be alive in the Oasis!
