Anyway…

I was about to say, today we’re going to talk about two very special inhabitants of The Oasis:

Bees and Seeds.

They are just two of the countless organisms that make our ever-growing ecosystem a living-breathing wonder of nature.

They both help make what the Oasis is today… A place full of peace and prosperity.

And I feel it’s about time we introduce them to you.

Meet the Bees

Bees are the hardest working animals of the Oasis. They help spread the seeds so more flowers can blossom and the Oasis can expand.

While they enjoy the scenery and scent provided by all flowers, they are picky with who they will stick around with…

They will not settle for just any garden.

If you’ve got at least one Flower and a $honeycoin, you’ve got a 50% chance that a bee will stay in your garden.

Taking the risk and trying to attract a bee with some $honey is more than worth it…

You see, bees and flowers are best friends. If you stake them together in your garden, the bees will double the $honeycoin production of your Flower.

Wow!

They’re absolute legends, aren’t they?

But there is a slight twist! You gotta take good care of your bees if you want to keep them around, all happy and working for you.

If you don’t feed them with little bits of $honey, their work morale will decrease and they will lose some of their boosting capacity every week.

Sad, unfed bees = less $honeycoin production boost for your Flower.

Happy, well fed bees = double the $honeycoin production for your Flower.

It’s as simple as that.

Now, you may not want to keep your Bee around forever… (Although they’re quite lovely!)

In that case, when you’re ready to move on, you will be able to find them a good, loving home on OpenSea. As you’ll see, the place is buzzing with Bee collectors. Pun totally intended.

In other words, Bees will be a separate collection of NFTs, connected to Flower Fam through our ecosystem, The Oasis. They can be created, traded and staked along with your Flowers.

They are little honey-making machines of the Oasis.

But that’s enough about bees.

Meet the Seeds

You’ll be able to buy seeds on the Farmers Market of the Oasis for $honeycoin.

In between busy streets, loud from all the traffic and regular celebrations, some vendors set up shop to sell seeds.

These seeds only grow in the fertile grounds of the Oasis.

Take good care of them and make sure that they do not get carried away by the winds. Once planted, your seed will have an 80% chance of growing into a New Generation Flower.

How? Simple…

The moment you plant your seed, it immediately starts taking in all the nutrients from the fertile grounds of the Oasis.

They’ll just need some time to grow.

Precisely, they need 6 days and 9 hours from the time you plant them. Then they will hatch into beautiful New Generation Flowers.

Much like their Genesis counterpart, these New Generation Flowers will produce $honey when staked in the Oasis.

And that’s not all…

Bees also like them.

So you can also attract one bee per New Generation Flower, as usual.

These New Generation Flowers will also be collected by the people of OpenSea. They’re a separate collection from the Genesis Flower Fam NFTs. However, thanks to our interconnected ecosystem, they will never feel lonely.

Putting it all together…

Bees and seeds will be separate NFT collections on OpenSea. But they each allow you different ways to grow your garden in the Oasis, one step at a time.

You can produce $honey, and then use some of it for planting bigger, better and even more beautiful gardens in the Metaverse.
